Heilbronn, DE. February 20th, 2025 – The German Gymnastics League is excited to announce that it has selected the American sportswear manufacturer OZONE/TURN as exclusive apparel partners. The recent merger of the two companies, Ozone Gymnastics Apparel (OZONE) and Turn Gymnastics Apparel (TURN), aims to revolutionize the German market as a new “powerhouse in the gymnastics apparel industry”, bringing its unparalleled expertise, innovative solutions, and customer-centric mindset to the table.
“We are very much looking forward to our new partnership with OZONE & TURN. The collaboration is already a lot of fun for everyone involved, both in terms of content and on a personal level,” said Kathrin Baumann, Managing Director of DTL-Marketing GmbH. The contract with the American manufacturer of gymnastics apparel runs until December 31, 2028. “It is our philosophy that great things can be achieved through trusting cooperation over a longer period of time. Together with OZONE/TURN, we have therefore made a conscious decision to establish this partnership for the long term,” she said.
TURN was launched in 2011 to meet the needs of top male gymnasts who are so often overlooked by the glitz and glitter of women's gymnastics. Founder and President of TURN, David Eaton had already experienced the German Gymnastics League himself as a gymnast for FC Bayern Munich and is proud to return as both a partner and a fan of the DTL. Eaton combines decades of experience as an elite gymnast and working in the apparel industry to develop a product line that he believes works much better, feels better and, above all, looks better. TURN is already established in Germany, having been
the exclusive technical apparel partners to the 9-time DTL Champions KTV Straubenhardt since 2017.
"We made it a top priority to partner with the DTL this cycle because we appreciate all it does for the sport. The professional environment it creates for athletes, not only in Germany, but the world over, is the envy of the gymnastics world and one we wholeheartedly support." Eaton enthused. "We will seek to enhance the DTL's efforts to further the professional gymnastics landscape."
OZONE was founded with the vision of being more than just a sportswear manufacturer. Right from the start, it understood that gymnasts required high-quality materials with a brilliant sparkle. Quality materials that have a complementary fit that works under the stress of every training and competition. OZONE is at the forefront of innovation with its gymnastic apparel and will continue to empower the next generation of gymnasts in style. In addition to a broad presence on the U.S. market, OZONE recently came to international attention with its extraordinary leotards for Olympic champions Kaylia Nemour (Uneven Bars/Algeria) and Rebeca Andrade (Floor/Brazil) as well as the team outfitting of Olympic bronze medalist Brazil.
“We are thrilled to partner with the DTL for a very collaborative and long-term relationship. The vision of this prestigious organization aligns well with our brands, OZONE & TURN. We look forward to taking this partnership to the next level in terms of elevated innovation and support.” said Kelly McKeown, EVP of International Business at OZONE.
“We have already come to know and appreciate the high innovative competence in terms of style and design of the OZONE & TURN products. In our opinion, they are also characterized by a high level of creativity with exceptionally good quality at affordable prices. We would like to open this door to our teams in the future,” Baumann continued. “We have already thought about many joint activations together and we are convinced that we will bring joy to many of our athletes and supporters,” emphasized the DTL-Marketing Director.
